The 24 Hour Songwriting Challenge 2021 is now OPEN. Here’s what you need to know…
The Liverpool Acoustic 24 Hour Songwriting Challenge 2021 opened at 12pm (noon) on Saturday 3rd April and closes 24 hours later at 12pm on Sunday 4th April.
What’s it all about?
It’s pretty simple really. Songwriters are given 24 hours in which to write, record and submit a brand new song inspired by a work of art submitted to the 24 Hour Art Challenge and inspired by the Threshold theme ‘retrospective’.
So where’s this art?
Songwriters must write a new song inspired by one of the 6 works of art in the 24 Hour Art Challenge 2021 gallery.
OK, I’ve picked a work of art. Now what?
Read the rules. challenge.liverpoolacoustic.co.uk/24h-rules
Seriously. Read the rules.
OK, so I’ve read the rules. Now what?
Write your song.
Yay! I’ve written my song! How do I submit my entry?
The 2021 Challenge is now CLOSED.
You will need to submit a copy of your lyrics.
You will also need to submit either a video or audio file of your recorded song. You can do this one of two ways:-
- Upload a video or audio file using the button in the entry form. There is a 100 MB limit.
- Provide a link for us to download the video or audio file from a file sharing site
