Launch event – Saturday 5th September 2020
The launch event will take place online on Saturday 5th September 2020.
Liverpool Acoustic will be hosting a Liverpool Acoustic Afternoon online from 1pm to 4pm. More details will be released closer to the time.
To enter the Challenge a songwriter will choose a piece of art on public display in the Liverpool City Region (Liverpool, Wirral, Sefton, St Helens, Knowsley, and Halton). The songwriter then has a month in which to write a new song inspired by their chosen work of art and submit it as a recording along with a copy of the lyrics and a photo of the work of art. The judges will then score all of the submissions with the top ten placed songs going through to the Showcase Final on Saturday 16th January 2020.
