The 24 Hour Songwriting Challenge 2020 is now OPEN. Here’s what you need to know…

The Liverpool Acoustic 24 Hour Songwriting Challenge 2020 opened at 12pm on Saturday 11th April and closes 24 hours later at 12pm on Sunday 12th April.

What’s it all about?

It’s pretty simple really. Songwriters are given 24 hours in which to write, record and submit a brand new song inspired by the theme.

So what’s the theme?

This year the theme is Threshold Vistual Arts.

Songwriters must write a new song inspired by one of the 41 works of art in the Threshold Visual Arts gallery at thresholdfestival.co.uk/news/visual-arts

OK, I’ve picked a work of art. Now what?

Read the rules. challenge.liverpoolacoustic.co.uk/24h-rules

Seriously. Read the rules.

OK, so I’ve read the rules. Now what?

Write your song.

OK, so I’ve written my song. How do I submit my entry?

The 2020 Challenge is now CLOSED.

You will need to submit a copy of your lyrics.

You will also need to submit either a video or audio file of your recorded song. You can do this one of three ways:-

  1. Upload a video or audio file using the button in the entry form
  2. Provide a link for us to download the video or audio file from a file sharing site
  3. Put the video on your own YouTube account and send us a link

I’ve got questions…

Don’t worry, so have we. If you have any questions, or you get stuck with the submission process, feel free to contact us
